This car showed up in late November 2024. The inspection expired that month. On December 20th, six inches of snow fell across Boston. This car was never cleared of snow. Fast forward to the second week of January. Still there. My assumption is that the owner does not want to pay for the repairs necessary to pass inspection, the vehicle's value is less than what it would cost to repair, and as such they have simply abandoned the vehicle. This is a public street, and no resident permit is required to park here. We understand and respect that policy. It looks like someone is trying to knock down the no parking sign at corner of Woodlawn and Hyde Park Ave. Is this being done by the city?
